As a HR International Business Partner, you will take full ownership of all HR topics across Bulgaria, Serbia, and Slovenia, acting as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR expert. You will be the primary HR partner for leaders and employees in three countries, supporting the full employee lifecycle while driving the modernization of our HR function.
Working closely with the Head of HR in Vienna and collaborating with international teams across HR Operations, HRIS, Finance, and Payroll, you will have a key role in our ongoing HR transformation. This position requires broad business expertis, strong systems expertise, robust analytical capabilities, and the ability to navigate highly complex international environments.
Your daily routine would include:
-Serve as a trusted partner to local leadership in Bulgaria, Serbia, and Slovenia.
-Provide guidance on organizational development, workforce planning, talent topics, culture, and employee engagement.
-Support the transformation of HR.
-End-to-End HR Operations.
-Own all HR processes across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding.
-Ensure full compliance with local employment legislation and maintain accurate employee records in all three countries.
-Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll.
-Guarantee systems, Technology & Process Excellence.
-Play an active role in implementing and optimizing the new HR systems (HiBob and new payroll system).
-Manage both administrative and technical HR processes, requiring a wide perspective and strong system knowledge.
-Identify opportunities to automate workflows and digitize HR processes, contributing to greater efficiency and consistency.
-Provide HR Analytics.
-Support annual cycles including salary reviews, variable pay processes, performance-related activities, and gender pay reporting.
-Prepare regular HR reports and analytics to support management decisions at regional level.
-Work closely with cross-country HR teams and participate in regional initiatives and projects.
-Contribute to building a modern, integrated, and scalable HR function across the CEE region.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
-Native Bulgarian and fluent English (Serbian is considered an advantage).
-Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, ideally as HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.
-Experience working with international teams and managing multi-country HR processes.
-Solid understanding of payroll processes and collaboration with external providers.
-Strong HRIS capabilities (experience with HiBob is a plus).
-Excellent analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with data.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment.
-University degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, or a related field.
